As well as being an engineer Peter is also an artist and has done a great deal of chainsaw carving. In the course of this pursuit he has used almost every make of chainsaw and has come to appreciate the enormous gulf in quality and design between Stihl and their competitors. Stihl make their machinery to be repairable and the parts are reasonably priced and easily available. Peter specialises in the repair and servicing of Stihl equipment. Peter has developed remedies for some of the annoying generic faults that crop up such as the infamous Stihl MS 200t carburetor. He has also come to appreciate the solid quality of Honda equipment as he has been using their generators for many years. Peter has been selling and repairing Honda generator fueled by the same respect that he developed for Stihl. It was in the course of this that he met Tony Bailey and was impressed by his encyclopedic knowledge and understanding of Honda’s whole range. Tony Bailey has been dealing in Honda generators for 20 years, in this time he has accrued vast knowledge in the complete Honda range of generators. Tony sold his Nottingham based business Phoenix power in 2000.
Peetone is the result of the shared respect for quality and competence.
